The Phloem Lamp was developed as part of the 2017 London Design Fair exhibition with Craft Scotland. The inspiration behind the design was a desire to create a lamp with a lightweight, engineered quality. The exposed components contrast with the light maple and dark Richlite (recycledpaper and resin) tones highlighting the connecting parts, resulting in an industrial look and feel.
