We write a monthly column about design in Scotland’s biggest independent cultural magazine, The Skinny – where we stimulate discussions; map trends; present new products; and raise the profile of contemporary designers and makers. We also write articles for national publications like The Scotsman; essays for national agencies like Craft Scotland and give talks for universities and public and professional audiences internationally including Lahore, London, Milan and Palma.
Our projects are regularly featured in national and global design press such as Dezeen, It’s Nice That, BBC Television, Design Week and Future Lab, increasing the visibility of contemporary designers and their contribution to Scottish culture.
Through our own publications we invite critical reflections from contemporary designers and we produce printed and digital records of our exhibitions and events. You can read our first magazine here, which features articles by Giulia Fiorista, Laura Spring, and Jamie Bartlett.
